Hipp Comfort formula is nutritionally complete and has been specially developed with less lactose, hydrolyzed protein, fibers and a special fat blend. These make the milk easier to digest than a standard infant formula. Colic can have many causes, including a temporary difficulty in digesting lactose, and usually resolves itself by the time a baby is 4-6 months old. Although this product is not certified organic, you can be reassured that HiPP Combiotic\u00ae comfort milk formula has been made to our usual high quality standards. It provides your baby with all the essential nutrients they need in the right quantities for their growth and development.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Preparing the feed
\nPlease follow preparation and feeding instructions carefully; failure to do so may make your baby ill, as powdered milks are not sterile.
\n1 Wash hands and sterilise all equipment according to the manufacturers\u2019 instructions.
\n2 Boil 1 litre of freshly run water and leave to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
\n3 Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle (referring to the Feeding Guide).
\n4 Using the scoop provided add the correct number of scoops of powder \u2013 1 level scoop of powder to each fluid ounce of water (approx 30ml). Level off the powder using the scoop leveller. Do not press the powder.
\n5 Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well until all the powder has dissolved (approx 15 seconds).
\n6 Cool to drinking temperature (approx 37\u00baC) by holding the bottle under cold running water. Always test the temperature of the milk before feeding. Feed immediately.<\/p>\n

\nOnly use the scoop provided in the pack
\nDo not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water\/scoops, and do not add anything else to milk feeds
\nFor hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use made up feeds within 2 hours of preparation. Discard anything leftover at the end of the feed.
\nDo not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding
\nA responsible person should be with your baby during feeding
\nPlease clean your baby\u2019s teeth regularly when they appear
\nIntroduce a cup or beaker as soon as possible to prevent prolonged\/frequent contact of teeth with milk feeds which may increase the risk of tooth decay
\nUse sachet within 3 weeks of opening
\nIf you switch to HiPP Combiotic\u00ae comfort milk your baby\u2019s stool consistency may change. This is typical for products that contain oligosaccharides, which may make baby\u2019s stool softer.<\/p>\n
