The addition of the natural thickener carob bean gum allows the formula to thicken in the bottle helping the feed to stay down. LCP (Omega 3 & 6) \u2013 these fatty acids are particularly important in the first months of a baby\u2019s life as they don\u2019t produce enough LCPs on their own.<\/p>\n

Hipp AR (anti-reflux) is a nutritionally complete formula and is suitable as a dietary treatment for reflux and regurgitation in infants. Preparation and Usage of Hipp AR Formula:<\/h3>\n

Preparing the feed
\nPreparation of anti-reflux formulas is different to normal infant milks, so please follow all preparation and feeding instructions carefully. Failure to do so may make your baby ill, as powdered milks are not sterile.
\n1 Wash hands and sterilise all equipment according to the manufacturers\u2019 instructions.
\n2 Boil 500 ml of freshly run water and leave to cool for 45 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
\n3 Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle (referring to the Feeding Guide).
\n4 Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of scoops of powder \u2013 one level scoop of powder to each fluid ounce of water (approx. 30 ml). Level off the powder using the scoop leveller. Do not press the powder.
\n5 Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and roll between the palms for 5 seconds. Shake for 20 seconds, then leave to stand for 7 minutes to thicken.
